what's your opinion in term of Home theater and Music reproduction? I'm looking for opinion before jump into it.
thanks a bunch.
I have the 3805 with the Rotel RB-985 amp, and am quite happy with music & movies. The 985 is 'just' 100 watts per channel into 8ohms.

thanks for responding.
what is the spec for Rotel RB-985 amp? I don't see it on rotel.com
Well, it's probably about 6 years old now. It's a 100x5 amp. I believe it's the first Rotel amp to be THX certified, back when that meant something!

IMHO, the 1080 is an excellent match for the 3805.

It's there but you may have to dig. The 985 is sort of the predicessor to the RMB 1075.
I run an Rb 1080 to power my fronts with an RSP 1098 processor. I think that the 1080 is an excellent match up for any 2 channel or HT front mains application. The 1080 is one of those rare birds that comes along every now and then that sounds way way better than it's linage and price say it should.
