1080i-2Fh on Phillips CRT?

I lent my old HD reciever- a Samsung T150 to a friend with a Phillips 34PW9815 CRT TV. He can't get it working. He gets nothing on the "AV4" HD input. I have not seen the setup, but from what he tells me, it is all correct. He is using component video, and the switches on the box are correct.

When I looked at the manual, I saw a line that said '1080i - 2Fh' I have never seen that before. What does it mean? Could it be related to why he can't get the 1080i component output from the T150 to work?
