A couple of these in your ReplayTV(s) should do the job...
Seagate 400GB HDD Announcement (http://www.seagate.com/cda/newsinfo/newsroom/releases/article/0,1121,2469,00.html)
Available in both SATA and Ultra ATA versions.
The big question is - will it be compatible with 50XX/55XX series ReplayTVs? (Hitachi's 400 GB will not boot up in a 50XX/55XX ReplayTV).

Here's your chance to be a pioneer. We'll help you with the arrow removal. ;)
Seriously, if you're running DVA (and what fool with 5Ks isn't running DVA?), then if it doesn't work in the Replay, it can still be used in the PC.

So you've tried the Hitachi 7K400 400GB in the 50XX/55XX ReplayTV yourself, or did you hear this from someone/somewhere else? I'm considering trying the Hitachi 7K400 400GB in a 55XX ReplayTV myself, but would like to find out if anyone else has had success before purchasing the disk. Have you heard of anyone having success?

It appears that CompUSA will be selling this 400gb drive in its Black Friday sale for $229.99 (after $30 rebate).

So has anyone upgraded with a Seagate 400 gb one? Does the Seagate 400 gb'er one work with a 5040?
