Lightbox Questions

I'd like to build a lightbox for movie mylars. A couple questions:

1) What is the exact size of a "5X25" mylar? Is it exactly 5" X 25" or are these rounded numbers?

2) Do I need to sandwich the mylar between to pieces of plexiglas for a mylar of this size (white signmakers plexiglas behind and clear plexiglas in front or are there folks out there who figured out a good way to do it w/ just one piece of glass?

Mylars are exactly 5X25 inches. How much are you wanting to spend on displaying them?

I made my box for $40 w/ and extra 16th inch in either dimension. The first mylar I bought was actually 5 & 1/8th X 25. So I trimmed it down (fortunately I am not a collector).
