I need recommendations for accurate LFE and Sub (redirected bass) signal generators. I have DVE, but I read that is not accurate.
If something is available as a download, describe how I would burn it to a CD-R using a Mac.

Hello again. Have you tried Avia? I also have a CD that I use to check for stereo playback. It is a Chesky/Stereo Review disc that is no longer available. You may be able to find something similar though.
I noticed from another of your posts that you have 2 subs. I was wondering how you go about calibrating them. Does your processor/receiver have 2 sub outs? Mine only has one, which I am splitting, and I'm not sure how to calibrate the individual sub level. I can use the subs' volume to adjust between the two, but I'm not sure if there is a way to this other than by ear. My Yamaha 2500 will do automatic calibration, but seems to get a bit confused by the dual subs.

the sub calibration tones on avia are not pure LFE tracks. a track on avia that IS pure LFE is the "low frequency sweep, LFE" track.

Is it Dolby Digital?

My processor has 2 sub outputs, but a splitter works just as well.
I set the volume control on my subs to the same moderate level, and then I check them individually with my SPL meter by turning one off while feeding the other a test tone. Once they are balanced with one another, I balance them combined, with the rest of my system.
Your 2500 may be getting confused if the subs are not balanced with each other. Two 'balanced' subs should actually offer a smoother room response than a single sub.
