VDigi VGA transcoder?

I ordered one up so I can run my xbox on the vga input on my Panny plasma and then my DVD player straight to the plasma as well. Currently I need to switch components through my receiver.

I decided to go with the one with the optical port cable - so I can also eliminate my HD pack.

Just wondering if there is any difference in PQ and audio quality.

Friend of mine ordered one a while back for a 30" Hi-Res CRT monitor that only has VGA input and it honestly looks and works great ;) .

Update:

Received mine today in the mail - had it hooked up to my Panny plasma in about 20 minutes and it works like a charm! AN EXCELLENT PRODUCT and worth every penny IMO.
