sony kv-32fs13 component input problems

I can't seem to get my sony kv-32fs13 to work with component inputs. It has component inputs under the Video4 label but when i switch to video4, i can't see a picture. I just see alot of screwy lines. Is there a trick to tell my TV to accept component video. I don't see any component settings under my tv's menu options.

any help is appreciated.

What is the source you are using?Your sure they are plugged in correctly.
Is it a DVD Player or a STB

It is from a dvd to the tv. Yeah, I'm 90% sure that everything is hooked up correctly. I'll check for the other 10%.

hm... make sure you aren't outputting progressive. Also make sure it's setup for 4:3 on 480I :)

You could have a messed up input... I just got a 36fs120 and the s-video died after 2 seconds... so I'm returning it :(

definitely... what's up with them lately? I like the picture quality, but for the love of god... the geometry is FREAKING HORRID!
