LOL, Not sure.. have there been any Ottawa area meets? Maybe I should get off my ass and organize one..

The mount is from a guy on AVS.. i believe the guy is called mandrax.. He is out of Toronto actually. My CC statment said Digital Visions.

There is a a huge thread about this mount... do a search for X1 Mount

There haven't been any meets in quite a while. The last one was at least nine months ago.

Hi guys,

I thought i would offer this to the local guys before it goes to audiogon, ebay or usenet. .

I bought a case to build a HTPC, but just never got around to it.. here is the link to the case.. its an amazing loooking case.. I looked at many before I chose this one. Here is the url to the case, its an Ahanix D5 in black. its BRAND NEW, I never even opened the top.. it has a VFD on the front that can display all kinds of info, and it has two "silent" fans already installed, it also has an IR reciever already installed. http://tinyurl.com/4y3yx

It's really an attractive case, and also good quality.

Here is the blurb :

The D5 is built on the award winning D.Vine 5 case, which boasts an all aluminum (1.5mm - 8mm thickness) construction and comes standard with a Vacuum Florescent Display (VFD), 300W ATX power supply, and two 60mm silent case fans.

The D5 represents the pinnacle of HTPC design, it's simple but unique design will look at home next to any high end audio visual equipment and prove to be the perfect host to your Media Center experience.

Standard VFD Driver for Windows XP Media Center Edition
Standard VFD Software for Windows 98/ME/2000/XP
Pre-Installed Vacuum Florescent Display (VFD)
