Hi,

I have had my iScan HD since launch in the UK and until now it has been pretty much faultless. However, recently when I start my system I intermittently cannot get any output from the iScan and the front display just flashes "DVDO". If I fully power off the unit (as opposed to bringing it out of standby) and back on it then seems to be OK. This has happended a couple of times over the last week

The current firmware is 1.12-5.6-1.31

Has anyone else seen this or have any ideas?

Thanks in advance...

Cheers

JJ

Try the new firmware. It addresses a standby issue according to the description on their site.

BTW - I am very new to the iScan, I am certain there are others here that know way more than I do about it.

Yeah...I had seen the Dec 1st Firmware update, but it is a bit painful doing the upgrade as you lose all your settings which need to be reconfigured per input.

I will probs try the latest firmware, but just wondered why this had started happening now as I have had the 1.31 firmware for quite a while now...

Thanks anyhow

I understand.

Try pm'ing Josh@DVDO.

Good luck.

Updated to 1.42 firmware and still getting problems...starting to happen more now...

If I press enter while the DVDO is flashing I get the following error code:

ERR-FE00-C8-012A

Any ideas?

I cannot help you.

Try calling DVDO.

God luck

I have a two-month old unit I used very little. It just basically went dead, but displayed an error code (ERR-FE00-C8-011F). When I finally received a reply to my email from DVDO, they said to send the unit back. I didn't attempt to do any firmware upgrades.

Cheers suz...

I think it is hardware as the unit has now started switching off intermittently :(

Back to my dealer me thinks!
