Hi everyone,
I cannot get the DVI input to lock and settle into a steady picture on my LG Plasma. The Plasma has a native res. of 1366x768. The DVI input on the back of the TV is marked RGB-PC. I'm using the DVI out from a Denon 3910. The picture flickers on and off, about every 2 seconds. While it's off, the plasma displays a "no input" or "signal not accepted" message. Then the picture is back for 2 seconds, and then picture goes off and these messages appear. This scenario goes on and on, regardless of 480i, 480p, 720p or 1080i output from the Denon.
Since the DVI input on the plasma is marked Digital RGB-PC, I wonder whether it needs to see the 1366x768 native res., and nothing else but? If this is the case, will a scaler that outputs 1366x768 via DVI fix this problem?
Can somebody explain this behavior of the DVI connection beetween the dvd-player and the plasma? The plasma has internal deinterlacing by DCDi.
