I was perusing the listing of exhibitors at CES this year, and came up with a list of those I'd most like to see. In no particular, albeit alphabetical, order:

Balanced Audio Technology
Good stuff altogether, and I'm curious if they'll actually show off the new VK-55.

Echo Busters
Hopefully not a static demonstration. Could be an interesting one to see, if done right.

EMM Labs
No brainer here. Curious to see what they exhibit, and what they match it with given Tenor Audio's recent troubles.

Graham Engineering Inc.
I assume they'll be showing off the new Phantom tone arm. Too bad QQQ's not going... I understand he's a closet vinyl junkie.

Grand Prix Audio
Missed it last year, would like to see their racks in person.

HALCRO
Fun demo last year at T.H.E. Show, with one VERY cute attendant.

HSU Research Inc.
Dr. Hsu is a lot of fun to talk to. Worth stoping by just to meet the guy.

Joseph Audio
Consistently rated among the best sounding at any show.

Kharma Loudspeakers
Great sound last year from their smaller models, somewhat mediocre sound from their higher models. Would like to see if they can get it right this year.

Kimber Kable
Tell Todd he still owes me $50 for the speaker stands.

MBL of America
GREAT demo last year, worth visiting again.

Meadowlark Audio Inc.
Because I love first-order crossovers, and because I've only heard their smallest line.

NHT
Should be showing off their DSP-corrected speakers. Definitely worth checking out.

Rockport Technologies
Because I never hear anything about their speakers, but they're supposed to be good?

Rogue Audio
Because it fits my budget.

Thiel Audio Products Co.
First order thing again.

Thorens
Good reviews, are they for real?

Upscale Audio
Curious what gear they exhibit with. Probably the stuff they import?

Vandersteen Audio Inc.
See my sig. I can definitely count on KeithR to fill me in on their room.

VTL Amplifiers
Very uninspiring demo with Watt/Puppy 7's last year. Would like to see if they get it right this time.

Walker Audio
Because after a year I still dream about my brief experience with the Proscenium Gold Signature Turntable.

Anyway, just my list of what I'd make it a point to see, other than the typical wandering from room to room and comparison of the latest projection technologies. If anybody hits any of these rooms, please take note, because I'd love to hear about it.

Oh, and if anybody finds a killer integrated amp in the sub $1500 category, let me know. I'll be in the market soon enough.

TMM--you and I were together last year and I seem to remember that Philip O'Hanlon gave the Halcro demo.;)
