Does my Series 1 Tivo have any value?

Its a Philips DSR6000 and has the fully paid Tivo Subscription and 40MB Hard Drive. I'll be moving over to Comcast for their high definition DVR and wondering if its worth selling. Thanks.

Yes!

You might even want to keep it, and upgrade the drive to a larger one, as the HD-DVR will have very limited HD recording capacity.

I just upgraded my old series 1 with a 250gb drive, for over 300 hours of SD capacity.

Perhaps keep it to record all those SD shows, and reserve the capacity on the HD DVR for real HD shows!

I'm sure if you want to sell it you'll find a good market for it on ebay, with the lifetime subscription and all...
