(originally posted in digital high end projectors) I did not see this forum or I would have posted here first.

I work at a university, and we have slowly been replacing our projectors with Epsons over the past 3 years to streamline setups, bulbs, etc. The projector remote control has many controls no educator needs. I am trying to locate a relatively inexpensive solution to minimize the controls.

Does anyone know of a company that has controls down to 4-5 buttons (on/off, input select, sound up, sound down, and possibly some screen blank feature)? I would think other corporate sites would like this technology as well.

Thanks in advance,
Eric

the thing is that there are no simple remotes that are cheap and learning

some good choices might be the HTM MX-200 if you can find it or the Harmony SST-745 or 748. There might be the one for all remotes as well, but don't know them well

I should have said <$100 per remote. Our other option is to go with some sort of extron or custom made mount that goes into each podium which is much more expensive.
