i'm not sure if anyone else had posted this (i searched and didn't see it), but i found an easier way to get polywall.
the hardware chain DoItBest (doitbest.com) will ship it to your local store free of charge. go to the website and type in the sku 118702 in the search box and it will bring it right up.
hope that helps! :)

We must not have DoItBest stores in the midwest, never heard of them. Menards, Lowes, and I think Home Depot also sell Parkland products...

Funny I've lived here all my life and never heard of them. Ok, I checked the website, I'm aware of the three listed and have purchased from them in the past: Leachman Lumber, Porter Hardware, and Des Moines Lumber. It appears DoitBest is a corporation buying cooperative, and they are members. However, my experience is that overall, they can't compete with Menards, Home Depot, or Lowes.

my post wasn't "the worlds greatest hardware stores". :D
just trying to make it easier to get polywall for those who said they can't find it anywhere. ;)

MxRacerCam,
Very helpful. I have a doitbest up here in northern maine thru one of our local lumber stores and gave them the sku number. They didn't have it in stock but could order it. They also had another brand called frp made by another company in stock so I will give that a look. They want 30 bucks a sheet up here! Thank god they are building a lowes and homedepot here this year.

from what i've seen, the FRP has too much of a pebbly texture to work effectively (though there may be different brands/versions of it).
