I'm about to take the plunge into HDTV, and am looking at a 60" set. The rest of the furniture at my place however is all wood based and "old world" style. This new Sony silver chic set will not exactly fit in. It will do more than fine on its own, but ideally I can put it in a wood armoire.

I know it almost sounds like a joke to think of one for a set like this because of the size, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

If it's some one of a kind piece for a crazy amount of money, it won't work either.

Any ideas?

I don't know what your idea of crazy money is, but this company makes great stuff:

You might consider a motorized solution:

Damn Mort, that's crazy money! They want $1999 for that TT-400 console. They're on crack!

I have the 55" and bought 2 audio towers to bookend the HDTV and stand.
Was able to match height by 1/4" (lucky). Towers have door/hardware that looks good in this configuration.

Looks great and adds scale to appearance of that large screen. Had to look around and be imaginative (before getting the boss' ok) :)
