I-scan HD questions

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and have read many of the threads but cannot find the answer to my question.

I have been looking to buy the I-scan HD for some time and have a couple of questions that someone can hopefully help me with before I buy. My main problem is with audio inputs and outputs and that they are all digital.

My current setup includes an UK NTL digital cable TV box (scart out only, rgb not svideo and no separate audio out) and also a laser disk player (analogue audio out only).

I also have a DVD home cinema with analogue and digital inputs and outputs.

My question is, can I daisy chain through DVD home cinema, inputting into analogue audio and outputting through digital audio directly in to the iscan HD or would analogue to digital audio converters be required in order to use iscan lip sync functions?

Also, my plasma has only analogue audio inputs, so would I require a digital to analogue converter from the iscan to plasma?



I very much like the iscan functions but the DACs would take it out of my price range.
