View Full Version : Studios Promise HD-DVD Movies in 2005

It looks like the studios that support HD-DVD are going to release titiles this year which is a good thing. The bad thing is it looks like the early HDTV adopters are going to get screwed if they don't output over component video cables.

It looks like they will be starting off right away with more titles that D-VHS currently has.
I didn't see anything about digital outputs in that article. Where was this info?

That is nice. I'm tempering my excitement due to the looming hardware war. I just can't see myself buying two players or taking the chance on one technology (which maybe obsolete within months/or couple of years).

Exactly. I just want a nice sub-$300.00 480P component player to hold me over for the next two to three years.
