I was wondering if anyone has had any luck calling Dish Network and getting them to exchange a DVR box for a standard box at little or no charge.
It's really annoying that if you are a new customer they will give you one for free but if you are a customer for years they expect you to pay full price for it.
I can always give them the "I can switch to cable or Directv story".
Love to know what success people have had with them.
BTW, I'm not a current customer of theirs. I left them a few months ago due to lack of HD programming. I want to get a DVR for my parents who have been a customer for about 2 years know.
