Fujitsu 55/30 & HD TiVo

Just when I was ready to buy another panel, Good Guys just had a sharp price drop on the Fujitsu 55/30 ( listed in this week's mailer).

Anyway, should I be concerned that I will not be able to use the HD TiVo's HDMI setting as the Fujitsu 55/30 does not have an HDMI jack? For owners of the F55/30, the HD TiVo, and a DVD player, how have you connected these 3 units? My viewing will be ~ 80% TV and 20% DVD.

Is the price drop in anticipation of a new Fujitsu 55? I.e., Is there going to be a 55/40? Anyone have any information on this? I assume, based on the reviews of the 50/40, that a 55/40 should be a big improvement (if it is coming at all), but if they're using the same glass as the 55/30, it still will have the contrast/black level issues that some have mentioned regarding the 55/30.

I just read the 3 most recent press releases on the Fujitsu web site which were put out for CES and there is indeed a 55/40 coming out. I think it said it would be out at the end of this month. The price was listed as TBD. There is also a new 63/40 coming in the second quarter. No price on that either.
