I just purchased a new Denon 2200 this past weekend. I have had some time over the past few days to put it through its paces.
Of course one of the first things I did was load up Avia and check the various test patterns. It is pretty well known that the 2200 outputs a fairly hot contrast signal, so I tamed this with the contrast pattern. I then properly set black level with the moving bars.
However when I reached the color bar screen I noticed something out of the ordinary. As I looked at the solid bars, I noticed faint lines running top to bottom next to the dividers. It looked like really bad edge enhancement. I proceeded to hook my RP-91 back up to see if it had the same problem. Upon viewing the color bars with the RP-91 all I saw was solid colors on each bar. The line showed up in both the blue and green color bar when I viewed it on the 2200.
Here is a link to a picture of what I am seeing (sorry for the poor quality)...

Any ideas what is going on here? I tried lowering the sharpness in the player and on the TV to no avail. My TV has been ISF calibrated so I know the settings are correct (and everything appears correct with the RP-91). Have any 2200 owners experienced something similar?
Thanks in advance guys!
