I just got a DVD burner last night, and was wondering what luck people have had with formats. Best Buy had a good deal on Fuji DVD+R's. I burned an MP3 DVD but the Sony couldn't read it. I was hoping it was just that it was a DVD and not on CD as the reason it couldn't read it. Also, what version of RW's work best + or -? Thanks.

MP3s on DVDs generally do not work on players, they must be on CDs. Also, it is best to use DVD-R or DVD+r instead of DVD+-RWs.... they seem to be more compatible.

Yep I bought DVD+Rs. I wanted RW's just for the random TV episode I miss and want to watch in the other room. That way I can just delete it after I'm done watching.

Thanks Jon for clearing that up about the MP3 disc. I wasn't sure if it was because it was on a DVD or I was fearing that my player didn't like +R's. I need to test with a video file I guess.
