Maybe I am missing something, but shouldn't they have instructions or something for submitting donations on their donation page?


Oh, I guess I see it now, there is a 'subscribe now' link on the sidebar. It would be a bit more intuitive to have a big button in the center of the page though, and also maybe an address to send a check to.

If you somply press "Donate...."you come to a second site and than press on the amount you want to donate (through paypal).

Something like this kinda defeats the purpose of open source. As said in another thread, DO NOT expect results if you donate, it is simply to show appreciation. Open source's goal is for the greater of mankind, NOT money.

While I am all for generosity, especially for such a B-E-A-UTIFUL looking product, I think that this a bit unfair to the creator. If all of this money starts rolling in, he will feel compelled to DO something, not only with the money (he won't have a hard time doing that), but also to give back to the community. This is just a project for him, not a job.

So, guys: Put your money where your mouth is. Sofar 23 would donate when looking at the poll, but only 2 did it actually.

Yeah I can't donate even if I wanted to... I live in the philippines and sadly Paypal has no support for my country.
