View Full Version : Can a color analyzer be used on another decoder than the one I will use for movies?

I'm having my BG 808 tuned, supercharged and adjusted Monday, and there are some bad menu bugs on my favourite decoder, dScaler 5, when used in VMR9 mode with ZoomPlayer. Can for instance WinDVD's decoder be used for the adjustment (in VMR9, obviously)? Will adjustments be correct when I switch to dScaler 5 for viewing?
Thanks a lot in advance!
You should be fine.
Hopefully the menu issues will be fixed soon.

Thanks a lot! btw you're the dScaler boss, right? One of the things I love about it, except for the picture quality, is that the subtitles are darker and less obtrusive than with any other decoder. Is it possible to make them even darker? With a CRT projector subs spoil so much of the ambience in dark scenes. Unfortunately my wife isn't as fluent in english as me, so we have to use them if there's too much slang or fast talk in a movie.
