Hi everyone,
I've had my htpc for about 6 months now and I really like it. One issue that keeps turning up recently is some kind of sync issue. About every 30-40 minutes, the video goes into "speed up mode" for about 1 or 2 sec, then returns to normal. During this time, the audio doesn't seem to change, I don't hear any sound drops or see the flashing on the amp that indicates a signal loss. This usually happens 1 or 2 times per movie. It seems to happen more if I FF or RW. I've had this happen with movies both on HDD and DVD Disc. This doesn't seem to be limited to any particular player. I've seen it in TT2.1.1, Nstantmedia, MCE. I try to only use the nvidia decoder/renderless options as they give me the best PQ. I've heard/read about Re-Clock, but I havent tried it yet because i have no sync issues other than described. Has anyone else experienced this? Is Re-Clock my best bet (or only option)?
