I have been narrowing the search down to the NEC XR3 and Pioneer 614MX. I understand the companies are now the same and probably the same glass with electronics and features being different. I was surprised to be told that the 614MX cannot be ISF calibrated since it does not have enough options. Is this true? And if so, should I then choose the NEC or is the picture on the 614MX good as it stands? Thanks for any info, I'd especially love to hear from those who have seen either of these sets which I have not been able to view so far.
