Hi, can anyone give me any pointers? I am trying to build a PVR with the machine I have right now. It's a Dell dimension 2400, with built in Intel video and no AGP. So i bought a Powercolor 9250 PCI with tv out for it. I'm using hauppauge pvr250 as the encoding device. My main concerns is that I'm not able to get the tv out to work on linux and I'm not too savy with linux.
I have red hat 9, do I try install redhat9 and get the powercolor card to enable tv out first? I mean before i install knoppmyth? or will knoppmyth take care of it? Would IVTV help and how does it fit into the picture?
Am I just nuts in trying to get an ATI card to run under linux?
