10 fully assignable 170wpc THX Ultra2 certified amplification channels
Ability to serve two independent 7.1 home theater systems (with 4 external amplifiers)
Ability to serve a full fledged 9.1 surround system in primary room
Ability to serve 4 zones of independent audio
Ability to deliver up to 22 channels of distributed audio (with external amplifiers added)
Incorporates the Audyssey MultEQ Room Correction System (currently the most advanced on the market)
Incorporates HDMI Ver 1.1 for HD video and multi-channel surround (including DVD-A)
Denon DLink Ver 3 for DVD-A/SACD transmission with Dlink capable Denon Universal DVD Players
Scaling and video processing with TBC for main Zone and video conversion for Zone 2
Receiver Editor feature and Internet firmware updates...This isn't so much an A/V Receiver, but a Multi-Functional A/V Control Center
