Supposedly the DVI imput on it has HDCP, so unless you also want audio through your hdmi, the dvi does the job fine, right?
This is not news, not important, and belongs in the other thread on the BenQ in my opinion.

True. And it does have a PC input which could bypass the need for DVI. Just 1 component though. I'm presuming the Syntax 1080p will have an HDMI, 2 component, and a VGA. Wonder if anyone on this forum can tell me if a 1080p PQ can still be crappy. Would the higher resolution of this set make blacks better or are all LCD's pathetic with blacks even if the resolution is 4270x2180?
