coaxial cable

Would there be any benefit to getting a different coaxial cable to run from the wall to my direct tv box then the standard white cable.

Pretty much no. Unless your old one is terrible or something. The long run of cable to your dish to the wall is what is going to hurt you and you aren't going to change that so the last few feet won't matter much.

Is this a house or a condo or what... I'm in a condo and my cable run is very long in a house maybe if you change out all the coaxial it will help but not likely :)

didnt really think about that, good point, guess ill just spend the money on some other cables

before wasting money on monster cables
they have better quality than monster cables and for much less in price

For a short run like under 12feet any coax unless it has a bad connector or something is going to be fine. Longer lengths like 50 or 100 feet may be helped with lower loss and more shielded coax though.
