UTV Update soon?

Had to download the UTV software due to hard drive failure yesterday. When you log on to get the download it asks if you have a "promotion code" and a place to enter it if you have one. The last time I saw this was during 3.7 beta testing.

Looks like there may be a beta going on right now. Anyone have any ideas?

i'd be amazed after all this time with no mention of it along with both ms and dtv csr's doing the hot potatoe whenever the question of future support arises.
knowing what we know at present to be realistically within the utv's capabilities by way of activating features here-to-fore left inactive or achievable by reprogramming, which ones are possible and of real value? i can't think of any?

The UltimateTV website shows no current updates. They're actually still advertising the 2003 upgrade, so you're probably still being asked for the promo code based on that.

The promo code menu is just part of the fresh download procedure...

I'm not sure if there any "active" promo codes out there now... just leave it blank and get the standard latest and greatest 3.7 and enjoy while you can.

Got a 160GB Seagate from Circuit City that I plan to update one of my UTVs with... Hopefully there will be no modem issues... (I don't expect there to be any)
