Onkyo SR502 vs SR602

Hello,

I have been trying to research this topic but can't seem to find too many threads. I am looking to purchase two athena as-f1 speakers soon and need a receiver to go with it. Keep in mind I will be buying as-b1's and as-c1 as I get more money and am able to afford it. Now, I was looking at the Onkyo SR502 receiver and the SR602 but the 602 seems a little bit out of my price range, my question is, will I notice any huge differences between the two units? Or does anyone recommend any other receivers over those two?

I compared the 2, and I own the 502. With the 602, you are just paying for a 7th channel. Same great sound w/ both.

Sound quality, wise they're probably the same. The 602 just has more features. If you don't need the extra features, the 502 will be more then enough to power your athenas speakers.

The 503 just came out and it has 7.1. I believe Circuit City has it.
