replay 4080 no sound and no picture

Replay 4080 working fine...then sound went out....then picture...getting no signal

connection is direct cable no splitters

removed cable from replay and connected it to TV.... got picture and sound (Both good quality)

So is it the tuner??? How do I get another one? I am pretty handy and can solder it in...

Unplug the power cord for 1 minute then plug it back in. Hopefully it will work correctly again.

Mikeyboy.....I can't believe it....it worked....

wish I read your message before moving my downstairs pvr to my upstairs TV...


now for a followup...why did it work....what was wrong?

It's just like a PC. Sometimes files get corrupt and the OS needs to be rebooted to straighten it all out. Like most electronics, powering off and on is usually a good place to start when things start to get flakey.
