Avia Problems and my Sammy 850

I just bought the Sammy 850 and my avia disk will not load properly. It appears to have something to do with the menu system on the disk. Has anyone else encountered this? Have you figured out how to make it work? The disk works fine on my xbox and other dvd player in the house. This is disappointing since I want to calibrate my new tv.
