Dip on Sony 30HS420.

I recently notice a dip at the bottom of the screen on my 30HS420. I think it may be because of my subwoofer, which is about 15 inches below it, but I'm not entirely sure. Is this caused by the subwoofer or is it a geometry problem like the upper left corner bend?

The dip you see is the slight horizontal curve of the tube. But it should only be very slight and not extreme. There is a geometry parameter called VPIN in the service menu that will help correct it. On mine it was at 19 by default. I set it up to 22 to get a more straight horizontal line/image across the top and bottom of the screen. You don't want to set this too high or you'll start to get a bow tie look.
