After weeks of lurking and then joining and asking a few questions, I settled on the TH-42PHDUY. Bought it on-line from plasma concepts (thank you to Keith for answering all of my questions) for a great price. Also ordered the DVI board and table stand. I was a little worried because after I ordered I read about the flashing problem with the letter box, but I haven't noticed anything unusual. Watched Friday Night Lights and it looked really good (on my Bose 321 gs system). My only comment was that the letter box seemed a little large. Not sure if that was just the movie or what. The HD TV is great, and I really haven't played with the settings yet. Regular TV is good also, although I haven't watched much of it, since the HD is awesome. Overall I am very happy with this TV. My PC cord isn't in yet, or I would have hooked that up too.
