Sony Plasma Owners?

I'm considering a KDE-XS955 (37 or 42).

I found a few threads with what seemed to be satisfied owners but no recent posts.

For those that own or have had them, any complaints?

Specifically, any problems with false conturing (or banding or posterization)? Any problems with color adjustments (e.g. too much of one or not enough of another color).

Finally, how well do they handle SD?

I'll be using D*TV for SD (over S-video) and getting my HD OTA at least for a few months.

I had the 42" sony which you are referring and got it for the excellent price from Fry's electronics. Anyway, I returned it simply because it wouldn't accept computer input.

Otherwise I thought it was a great television. SD looks like crap, but the movies were great.

Blacks aren't as deep as Panasonic though

I'm disappointed in my KDE-50XS955. Pic is a 9 but the ghosting seems worse than my old Pioneer PDP-4310. I'm going to do a side-by-side comparison this weekend.
