Madden 06 in widescreen for PC?

Does anyone know how to get this to work? I hate it when EA releases PC games but don't have widescreen in the options menu. Not everyone wants to play on a PC monitor.

No, there is not. I've tried editing the ini file to try to run it at 1920x1200 and 1680x1050 and neither worked. When I launch the game, it defaults to 1024x768. There has yet to be a Madden PC game that has widescreen resolutions.
