When I first got my sammy I would get motion sicknes due to the wide screen TV (16:9) It took me a couple days before my eyes could adjust to the wider screen.. Has this happened to you when you first bought your WS TV?

Your desciption remind me of sitting in the front row of a theather watching movie. Are you sitting too close and have to look left and right for the wide screen? :D

Oh, there were a couple of scenes that gave me a sense of dizziness, maybe some of the dogfights in Pearl Harbor. I look at it as an added bonus! I still get distracted by the picture quality, and step out of the plot, just thinking, wow, look at that picture!
The surround is complete now and just activated the HD Tivo, I can relax and enjoy.

It took me about a week, then after that i would never go back to a 4:3 set ever!

16:9 was just so easy on the eyes it was perfect!

Now if i watch a 4:3 set i feel like im seeing tunnel vision:D

The stretch modes took me some time to get used to, but then after that it was hardly noticeable. That along with my sony's DRC scaling regular cable to 960i looks great!

Just watch the Bourne Supremacy fight scenes and you'll get dizzy in 4:3 or 16/9 lol.
It took me like a week to get use to 4:3 programs stretch to fit the full picture. Other than that, the movies was immediatly.

You kidding? There was no adjustment period at all. The day I took delivery of my XBR960 was like Christmas day. I'd never go back! :)

That song from "Team America" is in my head now. Thanks. :D

ON TOPIC: It took me all of 3 seconds to get used to my set. I love it!

The hardest parts was getting it setup to look the way I like and figuring out the best stretch mode for me. I love my 16x9 set, just wish I could get a bigger one with the same picture quality without breaking the bank. At least now most sets have a basic HD tuner built in
