View Full Version : Any 50" Plasma that does 1:1 mapping via DVI/HDMI input?

I need to map 1366x768 to my ATI video card, and do not want to use the analog VGA. I understand there are problems with the Panny's over HDMI, and one needs to introduce an iScan to get around the problem.

Any proven experience with other brands? Philips, Pioneer, Nec, etc?

Thanks,

Jason

I keep suggesting it to Vizio on their new 50" Plasma via a firmware upgrade - would be a killer feature.

You can get 1:1 on a panny (1366 x 768 @ 60Hz) over DVI. Won't work on HDMI. I have not tried this with a PC but it does work with an Iscan HD as you mentioned. It should work from a PC, the DVI accepts about the same as the VGA.

Hope that helps

John,

R U talking about the commercial models? I prefer to stick with the consumer models.

Just curious.
