Stopped at my local BB store last night and as soon as I entered the store, there was a dedicated rack of nothing but SuperBit DVDs at 9.99  Every title was marked at sale price ... needless to say, I scarfed up a few ;)
if its still going on this weekend i will have to add a few titles .

The manager at this particular store said sale prices will continue until Dec. :D
Yep, just added another 32 titles from BB last night, to my first SB title Panic Room acquired last year. ;-)
Yep, sale will go on still inventory's exhausted, per sales dude....
Maybe they are flushing out all Superbit before the launch of Hi-Def. or Bluray DVD end of this year.

They were not on sale at Best Buy in my area.
I talked to a sales person to even be able to find any Superbit DVDs, because they had them all hidden over by the VCR's. (Of course!)
He said something about them not being very popular, so they moved them out of the DVD section... maybe they will go on sale eventually.

Most Superbit titles are on sale for $9.99, but some aren't. Unfortunately, you cannot trust the Best Buy price stickers to tell you which is which.
For those interested in a complete list of Superbit titles and prices at BB, someone posted one in a thread on this sale in the bargains forum over at DVD Talk. (Sorry, I'm too new here to have permission to post a link.)
I went by a BB yesterday and was told that the sale was a week ago. I did see one SB title that was labeled 9.99, but it looked like an individual thing and not related to the SB label.
But...I just went to their website and they have the sale going on there. I just got three titles.

Sale has been going on for awhile now.
Check out this thread discussing it.

Are the superbit DVDs available from BB on-line?

Yes...I got three yesterday.
Dont' rely on their "superbit dvd sale" button to bring up the correct list though. When I used it non superbit editions of the various dvds came up in the list. Find them individually with the search field.

The list linked to the normal CTHD, QatD and Starship Troopers (among others), but those pages then linked to the Superbit versions. You have to choose "Other Format > widescreen DTS" and you'll see the version with the Superbit cover.
The sale started in August and was supposed to end the first week of September IIRC. However, they advertised the sale in their fall magazine with no end date, so I'm pretty sure they were forced to keep the sale going until the end of that advertisement's run (12/31). All the better for us.
This is the DVD Players forum, in case anyone has forgotten. As Big Worms posted above, there is already a thread on this topic in the Digital Software forum, where it belongs.
