I was just wondering what the difference between these two is. My tv has the DVI/HDTV one and I noticed that it was missing some things that the DVI/HDCP has. I discover this when I tried to connect my laptop to my tv and couldn't because the VGA to DVI adaptor that I bought, had pins in the DVI part that are missing on my tv.

Can the DVI/HDCP accept analog signals?

Can someone explain this in detail.

Thanks for your help.

I got my answer while doing a search. I think I didn't ask the right question. The difference is between DVI-D and DVI-I. DVI-I can accept analog signals (it has 4 more pins) while DVI-D is only digital, which is bad for me because thats the one that I have. Unfortunatelly I can't connect my laptop to my tv unless I buy a analog to digital converter or something like that.

Thanks for the help anyway.
