Either TV has gotten worse, or I've gotten more critical (or possibly, I had too many RTVs to begin with). Either way, there's a perfectly good 5040 (40gb, remote, cables, et al) in my basement which doesn't record anything right now.

I know what you mean. I have MOOcho replaytvs and never watch a show. I've been wondering if I should move entirely unused stock for over a year.
