Is the Denon 5805 the only Receiver out there with this feature?

Denon 3806 has two component outs as well. I have not been able to determine if they are individually switchable however.

btw..whatcha race, chris?

I believe the 3806 and the 4806 as well as the Yamaha RX-Z9 have two component outputs both assigned to Zone 1 only.

Next firmware version for the Onkyo TX1000 will have that and HDMI. However it is more like a monitor function eg the same component/HDMI output is active on booth zones (eg you can't watch different material at the same time in different zones).

I posted a thread last week that asked if any Receiver besides the Denon 5805 can switch component video inputs between two component video zones. Although the thread received multiple responses, all alternatives have Zone 1 with multiple component video output; none could output CV to Zone 2.

It's hard to believe I am the only one with this need. Have others found another solution to this dilemna or am I on the bleeding edge of technology?

We design & manufacture several dual or quad output HDTV matrix switches. It is often more economical & flexible to just add one of these to your existing receiver.

I use a videostorm product to feed my second zone. In fact, I now run all my video switching through it and nothing through my receiver.
