I've a Syntax 27 that I love, but would like to go to 45" to 65".

Clearly the Sharp 65" is way to much $$$, but wonder why Syntax hasn't gone big at their great prices?

So that leaves plasma. But every one I've seen in a store is many times more reflective than I can live with.

I need a flat-screen with non-reflective screen of the SXRD Sony RPTVs.

Any suggestions?

you probably would need a pioneer elite series. those are the best ive seen at antireflective coatings.

All Plasmas are glass. Some have a tinted outer layer to combat glare. My Pioneer has this, but it still reflects quite a bit (like any plasma). I think Sonysung / Samsony is releasing a 46" LCD. The Sharp 45" can be had for some big discounts, as it's been out awhile.

Yes -- I saw the Pioneer and it was slightly better, but not great.
