What receiver should I get with this setup?

Hey guys! I am going to get 2 pairs of Athena AS-B1's and the Athena C.1, along with a Dayton 12" sub, all for $440 I think. I really do not want to go over 600 bucks, so any recommendations for a receiver doing 5.1?? I appreciate any advise!! Thanks in advance!

can you clarify. Are you looking for a receiver that costs $600, or are you looking to spend $600 total which would leave $160 after the speakers are purchased?

For the latter, I can't really think of anythig worth have for $160. Maybe the pioneer 515, but for about $75 more you could get the Panny XR55.

If you are spending $600 just for the receiver, I would recomend you drop it down and increase your speaker budget

sorry for the confusion! I meant 600 total, so 160 max for the receiver. I've heard good things about the panny xr55, but is there any stores selling it for cheap?

The cheapest you are going to find the Panny is about $225. Amazon has it. So does BH Photo. I would really avoid any reciever that is going to come in for less than that, unless you can find something used or on closeout
