Sharp 26" or Sceptre 27" LCD help

I'm looking for a LCD TV for my game room. I'm looking at the Sharp LCG5C26U and the Sceptre X27SV-NAGA TV's. They are both from Costco. The Sharp is currently $$$ more than the Sceptre. Has anyone had any luck with the Sceptre's? Is it worth $$$ extra for the Sharp? Unfortunately my local Costco ONLY has the Sharp on display so I can't compare the two. Is the Sceptre made by another company, being I've read most TV's are made by other manufacturers? There will be SD watched on it, but eventually HD for sports. Any help or input would be greatly appreciated. I guess I could just buy the Sceptre and if I don't like it return it??? Thanks
