HD941 gets very hot!

ok, not quite that hot...

but my samsung hd941 seems to run unusually hot, especially front right, behind the 4-way pad. it has locked up several times, and i can only assume it is heat-related.

it *is* upscaling...which just occurred to me. am i taxing its brain too much? i'll have to try it without. in any case, is this a problem anyone else has seen with a sammie? with another dcdi-based player?

I have an 841 and it also gets very hot at the top right behind the display/control. However, it has never locked up. I had it, I think from last spring.

Mine is always hot. Even when it's in standby. I've never had a problem with it, though.

My 841 got so hot, I felt the need to drill vent holes on the right side and install larger heat sinks. The power supply has a large transistor in the center of the circuit that is the main culprit.
