Really Want 1080p 50-55" LCD!! How soon?

Don't want, nor can I afford the new Aquas 65".

Any word on when and at what MSRP we'll start seeing 50-55" 1080P LCD's?

What would you watch with 1080p?, is it just because it says 1080p you feel better?
There is NOTHING thats transmitting 1080p now or probably in the next few years, maybe your lil ps3 will transmit a CARTOON on that $5000+ screen.........

Bud: Simply put - 1080i signals need 1920 pixels across. We can debate the verticle interlaced stuff.

What's wrong with getting a display that can 1:1 map? Absolutley Nothing.

....this one is nice too...well at least the specs. Not a big fan of the design. However if it's anywhere near the PQ of the current XBR Bravia sets all will be forgiven.

Not until 2007 after the newest plant comes online. Glass substrate size currently would result in too much waste.

The LC57D90U will be offered in the US in March 2006.
