I've done some research and discovered that both the avr 1906 and 786 are identical except for color (black for the former, silver for the latter), so I am going to go ahead and purchase the 786 for that it is cheaper and too me the color doesn't matter...please inform me if there are any more differences...thanks... btw...I was on there global page and found out that their receivers are only black in North America (silver elsewhere)...any reasons why?
