Looking for a flat screen LCD for my RV. Built in HDTV tuner is a must as is detachable speakers (also installing a separate audio system). I am looking at the discontinued Sharp LC-32GD4U and the Hyundai Q321. The Hyundai seems to have better specs and can be bought for the same price, around $$$ delivered, as the discontinued Sharp. As near as I can tell the main difference between the discontinued Sharp and the model that replaced it is that the speakers on the former can be taken off, on the latter cannot.
Recognizing that I need/want ONLY the 32" display with built-in HD tuner, comments on these two and suggested alternatives would be greatly appreciated.

i just checked it out online, i dont think the q321 has an hdtv tuner, it says its hdtv compatible, which is trickery if you ask me... reminds me of the days when dolby 5.1 came out.

The Sharp will beat the Hyundai, regardless of what the stats say. Value brands are notorious for overstating their abilities, and Sharp is known to be pretty honest. That's why they look the same on paper.
I drove a rental Santa Fe the other day, though, and it rode nice. :p

Actually, the specs show it has an HDTV tuner. But it is very unclear as to whether the TV turner is internal or external. Also, supposedly the base and speakers can be detached, leaving only the screen, which is what I want.
Probably not a good deal just because you can't find any information on it.

The Q321 has a built-in HD tuner and a built in QAM tuner. I have one, it's very nice so far.

There's some discussion in the AV Forum's Q321 thread. Pictures appear to be almost identical to me.
